Your profile
  • DevOps practices are your passion
  • You work with Linux infrastructure on a daily basis
  • You have an Infrastructure-as-Code set of tools of choice, in ideal case including Terraform
  • You know networking, monitoring, databases, AWS, GitLab CI/CD, Kubernetes/EKS, Docker, ElasticSearch, 12-FactorApp fairly well
  • You can quickly navigate complex infrastructure and enjoy a bit of archaeology at times
  • You work well across multiple teams and you are also able to finish projects on your own
  • You are a great communicator, fluent in English (German is a plus) and you enable your team to find optimal and practicable solutions by actively participating in team discussions and leading meetings
  • With your experience and your strong eye for detail, you find the balance between pragmatism and perfection
  • Your are familiar with agile development (Scrum)
Your tasks
  • Operate core cloud infrastructure (including AWS Lambda, Kubernetes/EKS, PostgreSQL RDS, ElasticSearch)
  • Improve reliability, harden security and reduce operational risks (SRE)
  • Evangelize DevOps practices and culture
  • Document tech stacks, create training materials for developers and teach them
  • Improve/review developers CI/CD code
  • Help debugging issues when others are stuck
  • Develop and maintain our internal CI framework
  • Plan, present and implement additional fundamental infrastructure requirements
  • Host several DevOps related re-occurring meetings
  • You are part of an agile development team in Berlin where your contribution makes a difference and can have a big impact

Christian Beilborn and Denis Nordmann founded the ETH Zurich spin-off in 2008. The online application is continuously expanded by an in-house development team and allows media reviews and evaluations to be created in no time at all.
